cooey model 60 and cci stingers

What? You just said you sometimes need more than 2 shots...that's what? 3? 4? Come on man, be humane.

You can buy a damn .223 for like $300. .243 and .270 are all legal where you are too if you can find a used one cheap (you can).

ya $300 is way out of price range for me right now i have to use the .22lr till i can buy a .223 bolt all my money s on the double barrel flintlock right now.
like i said most of them drop in 1 shot im looking for a better ammo becuse there was one that i needed to shoot 3 times im thinking that the round hit a rib

the .223 will do some damage to the pelt too

LOLWUT!? Hardly. I find the winchester 'value pack' 45gr hollow point varmint rounds to be excellent. A Hollow Point 45 gr .22 cal 223 bullet is really not going to do much more pelt damage than a Hollow Point 40gr .22 cal 22LR bullet...

Maybe you should decide what's more important to you, some custom shotgun you're building or being more humane...

I'm sure it could wait a little bit longer. If you're really so poor that you can't afford $300 to buy a 223 maybe you should spend less time shooting at dogs and more time looking for a better job...
