M-14b

LIGHTINFANTRY;
"However, despite my questions, and your possible assumption, I do still buy from you"
I am happy to hear that, we do our best to satisfy all our valued customers.

(just not the M-4, which in the end i bought somewhere else due to your complete lack of proper response, and have been completely satisfied), and quite a bit, I must say.
I'm sorry to hear that, but I'm certain you can understand that when we discover a pontential issue and correct it, we are not liable to discuss it in an open forum so other importers can benefit from our experience....

Well I guess you missed the second part of my post, as well it seems that you also missed that same part that you quoted just below in your statement where i mention that i have handled and shot a number of them. Is it comprehension that you lack or something more serious?

Really? You need me to explain it to you? OK. The part I posted first (below where I quoted your first part) is in direct response to that quote. The reply that I posted below the second quote is a response to that quote... The point being that it is quite likely that the CQ-A's that you have handled and/or fired are all from Marstar, seeing as Marstar supplies most of the dealers in Canada.

Many of us who know for sure that the guns we handled/shot/bought/sold were from production runs prior to Marstar's know quite well the differences in overall quality fit and finish between the different production runs.

:) I don't think you should be lecturing anyone about reading comprehension.

Your anger and dismissive attitude to various posters is not necessary.

As for which M-4's I have handled. How did you determine that? Have you been following me and keeping tabs on me? You assume too much based on your predetermined opinion.

Understood. Thanks John.

No anger. :) Dismissive attitude, maybe (ok, probably); but no anger. And I'm not making any assumptions. I'm sorry if that is your inference. ;) You will notice that I use words such as "likely"... Based on my experience with the different generations of CQ-A's, there are noticeable differences between them. Particularly noticeable in the finish quality.

Based on the fact that you indicated that you had not noticed any such differences, I suggested that the possibility exists that all or most of the samples that you have seen were all imported by Marstar.

I am curious though; if you have already gone and bought an M-14b from another dealer, and you are confident in your conclusion that there is no difference between the ones that Marstar is importing and the one that you bought, then why are you so concerned with this thread at all?

Just go shoot your new gun and don't worry about us suckers that are still waiting for ours... ;):)

Actually I bought 5 M-14's from Marstar (and have 4 of them still) and 0 M-4's. Why am I interested in this thread? Because I am considering another M-14.

Again, you assume way too much of what goes on in my life.

no one is even willing to tell what the alleged "improvements" are, apparently because this would give the competition an edge somehow.

I asked what the differences were in this batch awhile back in this thread and as told 'none'. From what I understood we were waiting for a lower price and free hard case. I guess we could assume (and if there is a thread filled with assumptions it's this one! :D) that with each run the Chinese are getting better at what they are doing, so that's something.

No matter what I'm waiting for mine, it's an endurance test at this point.:p

Let's hope Frank caught any quality issues before the rifles leave the factory. With the warmer weather I have an itch that only an M-14 can scratch. Time for a new rootie-tootie aim and shootie.

I think Frank picked up a child while in china, and is raising him to adulthood. He will then put him thru school and one day open a manufactuing facility. We may then be able to get our hands on the rifles.

So According to Facebook, the M-14's will be here in late may and available a few weeks after that. Are these the M-14b models we all have on pre-order?

If so, Are you willing to comment on what quality issues were addressed?

Thanks.

holy crap. My preorder must be #1 by now
I hope the su-16 doesn't arrive at the same time. I better stash some more monies away.
