The leather tab that connects to the gas block is about 3/4". Voodoo, theres a few on ebay but theyre usually asking ridiculous prices then 2-3 times that for shipping, SKSman has a few different red rifle slings and sometimes local shops that stock SKS's sell them as well.

I've bought Russian SKS accesories from Bojangles a couple of times. Great Guy to deal with.

I have a few hundred chinese slings, cleaning kits too. I'm in the US so I'm not sure what shipping costs would be. I'd take $5 for a sling and $4 for a cleaning kit plus shipping
