Hey, I need ONE 1911 that I can actually shoot! And despite the grips looking like they were fashioned after a baseball jersey I kinda like them

If you want a shooter, buy my new Kimber! Then we both win.
My opinion (which counts for lots on the internet ) is that companies like Remington and Ithaca that are jumping on the bandwagon should be making repros of their original, traditional pistols. There are so many new style 1911s out there that I wouldn't even know where to start if buying one. The closest thing to a faithful reproduction I've seen is the repro M1911/M1911a1 that Colt came out with. What can I say, I like the old stuff.
Just my two cents.
