Where to buy IWI Tavor?

I was looking through the ebrandon classifieds and there is a person in neepawa, manitoba selling one for $3,100.

I'd suppose Questar or CanAm, if you are lucky it may pop up on the EE, otherwise you'll have to wait for it to come after your order.

Rauch full length top rail, which I highly recommend. A set of Troy battle sights, and an ACOG TA-whatever-the-hell-it-is. It's an ACOG, who even knows all the versions and what they mean?

Oh, and a Surefire G2 LED in a cheap NCSTAR flashlight ring mount. Should work fantastically on dump rats/cats come spring.

I'm somewhat of a purist when it comes to my Tavor; I'm just running the low profile Dlask rail with an EOTech 551. I can't keep track of the different ACOG models, either (all I know is mine has the anti-jihad markings...). I put an AAC Blackout on it so I'm looking forward to trying that out whenever Spring decides to make an appearance.

We have a couples Tavor owners here and this will be nice if i can have your feedback so far on the Tavor.

Are you satisfied to the precision so far ?

Do you still think this is a reliable rifle ?

Compare to the AR what is the recoil ?

All the infos will be appreciate !!

Yes, though I'm only shooting out to 200 yards with it (it's not as accurate as my AR or FS2000). It's been very reliable thus far; easy to clean, easy to maintain. It's got more recoil than the AR, mainly because you can do a lot to dampen that on the AR with a different buffer, stock pad, etc. It's definitely louder than an AR.

I have owned two Tavors (I still own one). It is a very accurate, well balanced rifle. I would not consider it a bench rifle, however, it is by far the best rifle I have ever shot a gong at 200 yards. Offhand at about 10 rounds in 5 seconds, seven hits (4x scope). I'm no ninja, but that's as good as I could do.

The trigger is horrible for bench shooting. A friend of mine trying my Tavor thought the safety was on (it wasn't). It is a heavy pull.

I love it.
