legal semi-auto's for coyotes

hey guys, my brother-in-law and I want to get semi-auto coyote rifles but all the AR style rifles are resticted. does anybody have a good idea of a good semi-auto yote rifle that is legal to hunt with?

Remington 7400, SKS, BAR, anything really. If you must have a .223 then the choice gets more difficult.

Ruger minnie 14 in 223 must be the target model .Ihave one, shoots 1moa with just about every load tried . got one of those thingies on the end of the heavy barrel.

Use Prvi Partizan 123 Gr soft points. Deadly on deer and deadly on coyote within 125 metres.

Tracker, I'd go with the .243 Win, very versatile, tons of loads for it, and you can use it for deer as well!

If you want something really cool, get a Norinco 305, have a barrel installed in 243, or 22-250, and tell them to make sure the gas system works for the cartridge as well. I bet Dlask could be talked into that one.

That really limits the options for semi-auto... Have you thought about 6.8spc...?
