Just curious how many others are faced with the same decision this spring/summer, which new black rifle to buy. Already released is the JR Carbine by EMF, and hopefully soon to be released the Kel Tec Su-16f and the Canadian made AR.
Ideally I'd like to have all 3 as they each fill a different niche. There's a non restricted 9mm carbine, a non restricted polymer rifle in .223 and finally what sounds to be the most affordable North American built AR available in Canada.
So lets see your votes on which one(s) your hoping to buy this summer:rockOn:

Most defiantly a SU-16F. They're kinda fugly but I like them.

I hope the aftermarket parts start showing up after they come to canada though...

None.

Don't really see the point of a 9 mm rifle, already own a 7.62X39 that is cheaper to shoot and has a better range.

You can't really call it a Canadian AR it is more like a North American made AR, since lot of the parts are still coming from the US. a $1000 AR has always been possible, you just have to shop around a bit.

That funky SU-16 is a neat little rifle, but it doesn't really bring anything to the table, since my Tavor and AR are both short as if not shorter than it :p

All of the above. For a little while at least. I'd like to try one of everything under $4k or so on the Canadian black rifle market, and eventually find one or two that need to be kept. :)

Heres a SU16T modded.

Maybe this pic will sway your vote ?
