Ceracoating

It cost about $350 to do my exhaust manifold and turbo...so it should cost much less than that for a barelled action. :D
 
Anyone have a ceracoated gun? How is it holding up?

Many of my own personal rifles have been CeraKoted and the finish is standing up very well. I tend to treat my guns as tools so am probably harder on them than many would be.

We have been doing this coating process for several years now and have had no complaints on durability of the product to date.

I'm no expert, but I think the key to ceramic coating is in the preparation. If the person doing it is very thorough with the cleaning, the coating will stick well. If there are any residue left, i.e. oil, then the coating will not stick.
