So many AR-180B's for sale?

Apparently I missed a recent jump in price on them. What changed in the "non restricted even though it looks like one" world to make them go from ~1200$ to ~1700$??
Serious question too- I'm not knocking that gun. :)
 
What cracks me up is that south of the border, you can't $1000 bucks for one, yet up here people think they are the holy grail. Better guns out there, but we are limited up here when it comes to non-restricted.
 
You boys should read up on ' supply side economics'....
Or the Golden Rule...."He who holds the gold, makes the rules".
 
FWIW, the ones asking $1700+ are not stock. The ones there now have things like NM triggers installed, UBR buttstocks, $300 quad rails, etc.

The stock ones are going in the $1300-1400 range from what I have seen.

Better off getting a kel tec su16 when they're available. They're what happened when a glock and an sks made sweet love, with an AR watching creepily through the window.
 
Ummm... ok, but the SU-16 is just sooo UGLY! I like my AR180b and am not in any hurry to see it sell, but in all honesty what I really want is a non-restricted 18.5" barrel AR15. C'mon - most of your guys probably agree with me ;)
