Please help reading this Russian word

This is stamped into the bottom of a non-refurbed 1951 Tula SKS, just behind the tip of the bayonet. I've never seen anything like this, can anybody tell me what it says?

Can be translated to English as "Love".

Yep, he named his SKS. As said, the previous owner named his gun. If he was addressing his wife using the word love, the Russian word would be a bit different and much longer. I can't figure out how to get the cyrillic to type on this bloody keyboard.
