How collectable is the 15 pack sks "battle box", empty??

I picked this box that held 15 sks rifles that stack 5 wide and three high. It has a ton of russian writing on the outside and inside the box. I got it this afternoon from the neighbourhood gun shop. Said he was going to throw it out and I got it for nothing, thinking that it would be super cool to have. Is this type of thing collectable??

theres a handful of them around, so im not sure how collectible, but you can buy a glass top and use it as a coffee table

It would make a good sturdy bug-out box. Just don't pack it too heavy.

Mine sits at the end of my bed and holds all my ammo!

I doubt there is any collectibility really. Not yet anyways.

Paid $20 for mine.

Odd, mine is dry as a bone inside, and I aired it out for a few days, smells like nothing now.

thats because you have the smell of cosmo in the nose....after a while gargage men can't smell the garbage either

Mine makes an awesome bench/shelf at the end of my bed, and really goes well with all the crates of Czech ammo i use as a night stand! Ah the bachelor life.... lol

I just give them away now. I was selling them for $40 but now I put put them at the end of the road when I have extras. i think someone down the road is using them for kindling...cosmo lights up well.

Lever Arms in vancouver sold them for $20. I bought one a while back.

We sell them for $40, had one as a coffee table for a while but the wife couldn't take the smell on hot days. I have it in my basement to store Misc. things in.

I put a lock on it and keep all my ammo in it. I use it for storage of things that are gun related and not used a lot. With kids you can never be too safe.

I use mine for tool storage. It works great and keep everything very organized.
