What was your biggest game animal shot and with what?
pictures say a thousand words

my personal best is a 350lb black bear shot with my 338winmag which no longer resides with me and my dads 30-06 at .01 sec time delay.
not sure whats bigger...me or the bear

800-900lb moose in nfld with my old .303 and peep sights at 350yds when I was 21 - sorry no pics though - 45min. hike out to the truck; I'd never make it now, lol

Getting back to the original post, my biggest animal was a 5 point bull elk that I would guess would be about 700 pounds or so. I shot him with a 130 grain TSX out of my 270 WSM. No field pics unfortunately though.

A northern ontario bull moose shot with my rem 700 bdl 30-06, butcher estimated him at about 1300lbs on the hoof. Oh and he fell to a heart shot with 165gr barnes tsx.

Moose, 51 1/2" spread though your guess is as good as mine when it comes to weight. I'd say 1100ish pounds. .25 WSSM, 350 yards.

there was not much "fat" on her when we pulled her apart. (same as most deer) lol

other guys online think she was 8-9 years old. premolars and molars where worn to close to 3/16 of a inch

55" Bull Moose, back in 1965. No scales, but a butcher who looked at the 4 quarters hanging said, they would go 700+ lbs, so live weight = 1300+ What a pack he was!! Only barely over a ¼ mile, but it felt like a mile. Eagleye.

Biggest? Thats a little wide open, well how about my Cougar 14 13\16 skull (160 pounds shot at 20 yards with a .222) black bear 19 15\16 (don't know what HE weighed but LOTS! done in with a .338 win at 60) Elk 337 and something (don't know the weight and done with the o'l .338 again) Weight wise would be a medium Moose, four 1\4's weighed in at 6 something. Sorry no pics.... this is a borrowed computer and all my pics are on my old one. When you turn it on a skull and cross bones show up and won't do anything? I'm pretty sure it's going to need a bullet too!

Hair shy of 2,000lb Cape Buffalo, which is a very, very heavy example for that particular species. Not the biggest spread to come off the conservancy, but the biggest bodied bull they had in recent memory. Hope to up the max weight threshold for me to 12,000+lbs soon.

Thanks Camp, he wasn't easy to get, 4 long days on foot chasing, the wind kept changing, light swirling breezes in thick jess (low bush).
