Banger, Bersmith and I ventured down to Pa. on the weekend for this match.
Tons of fun. Great facility and fine people...
If you have a chance... get there.

Looks like they don't have to practice mag changes as much as us.

... and they don't have to shroud their steel targets
... and they don't have to get "holster qualified"
... and they don't have to "belong" to a national org. to participate in matches
... and they don't have to get an att
... and they don't have to put up with half the BS we do in order to enjoy action shooting..

And guess what...

Noone gets hurt

Team event?

Yes... 7 Stages.

Some where akin to relays where shooters would have to "tag" eachother.
ie. First team member runs through the stage engaging say... all shotgun targets, runs back to tag team mate standing in start box who then runs through the same stage to engage say... Pistol or rifle or... whatever.

'Like a egg and spoon race/relay, but with guns :D

Other stages where "free-for--all" where all three team mates would engage the stage at the same time. Say, one rifle one pistol one shotgun or two pistols and a shogun or.??? whatever the stage required.

So... strategy is a must. Y'gotta decide who's on your team is gonna shoot what and when... One caveat though. each team member had to switch up guns at least once so.. You couldn't stick to shotgun all day.. You'd have to shoot at least two different guns for your team during the match.

Scoring was done via PDA's so... no paper score sheets and results pretty much instant.

And it was fun and safe and we all had a hoot

Except for having to listen to country music during the drive.. Yeah, it was a hoot...
And that run down road house lunch stop in NY... Yeah, that was truely awsome... LOL
