I would advise against the serpa, just go for the regular kydex(no button).
Have you looked at a Bladetech DoH?
Mag pouches for the course a couple doubles will do fine and if you upgrade you will always have them as a backup.

i have a fobu GL2 with my G17 , and uncle mike mag pouch. very fast draw . i have the blade tech doh for my cz's, i've find them very hard on pistol finish.

+1 for Bladetech DOH (you can remove the DOH component for IDPA, if you so desire). They make good, inexpensive mag pouches too. Order direct from the US.

Having competed for several years in both sports and having moved the DOH adapter on and off of a couple of holsters in that time, I'd recommend anyone looking to do this against the practice. Eventually the holes in the kydex get oblonged from the constant on/off.

The better option is to get another dedicated holster for both, and imho the best option would be to ditch the DOH feature altogether and run one holster for both. With the later option one only needs to work on one draw stroke only and they give nothing up in speed of the draw. It just happens to be the cheapest option too.
