Who's Stoked?!

Yeah, I'm looking forward to it too. I'm actually all ready packed. I intend to arrive at the range slightly bleary eyed and in good spirits. It's only calling for a 15 C temperature swing (to the positive) so I should be okay to pick a morning and afternoon fashion ensemble.

Your sig line has the address for the old ORA website. Try the .ca version. It has the updated calendar and forms.

Whoa, just did a quick double take when you said 1 day to clinic, then realized you are talking about CQB clinic.

I'm stoked for the SR clinic! Admittedly it's a nervous excitment having never done this before.

Putting 60x rounds through my rifle tomorrow, been practicing shooting positions at home, man I suck at mag changes! :D

:runaway:It's going to be awful, awfully fun! and the weather looks like it's going to cooperate!
Just keep the an eye on the OCD the Borden weather machine!
G:G:G:

Vehicle is packed. Filled the back of the vehicle with targets, patches, staple guns, brass buckets, nylon line, tent pegs, and all the paperwork for the clinic! I've got my head up my butt for the past 2 days. It's going to be an intense clinic. So much so, that I have to bust open another 4 oz. of CLP bottle! ;) Lots of ammo to be sent downrange. :D

Don't forget extra ammo, extra snacks, more drinks, few extra mags (you will discover why... ) I'm not telling you why! Time for Barney & Timk to say, "I told you so!" :nest: yuk yuk yuk yuk

This is a very different game than your home clubs where you cannot fire forward of the line unless you are Black Badge Qual ( and all those other cards). :D

This is your ultimate learning opportunity to sort out your gear to discover what works (good quality gear) and what flops (Cheeeep Airsoft nylon from Cambodian Tire). Bwuaa ha ha ha ha

Tomorrow is calling for around 10 degrees Celsius... Sunscreen maybe? Rain gear is always good to have in your shooting ruck.

Hmmmm Extra snacks? Bring a couple of pens/ pencils for your paperwork. Cash for the registration because some of ya have not paid me yet. Many of you have not even registered but hey... it's your time that you are wasting! Several of you already know how efficient Timk and I run things! :D

Stuff a Chapstick in your pants pocket. Hand sanitizer in your tac vest pouch. Digital camera to record the SIDES of our faces, just in case they need me as Agent Orange outside Kandahar! :D

Vehicle is packed. Remember, Gate 35... is BEHIND (turn RIGHT) Range Control Building! I'll have the gate open at 0730. ;) Then it's time for Bunga, Bunga.... Nah... I'm just joking! It's a metaphor!!

 and see you tomorrow ready to rock!

Barney

God damnit. I would be stoked if my AR was ready and the CFO would get moving on my glock transfer :( Soon I guess. Have fun for me and take some good pics pretty please!

Just finished packing and adjusting etc. (forgot a pen, thanks hungry!!)

Looking forward to this for tomorrow!!!!:ar15:

My wife saw me trying everything on, then just shook her head and went back upstairs....:D

Damn I wish I could make it out to help  or even make it out this summer. If I land my new job I will only be able to make it out to the finals (maybe September), since it will have me working weekends :(

Oh well I guess Plink will be happy until October :stirthepot2: :p

LOL.. that's to bad man, was hoping you would be able to beat that 500 you were talking about.

Wish I could go today as well. Weather looks fine, unfortunately, I've got other commitments, and I'd prefer to stay on the good side of the wife unit.

Truly unhappy I missed this one due to inept planning (I foolishly trusted that Canada Post Priority/Express would take less than 2 weeks to travel 565km down the 401)

I attended 2 previous CQB clinics (and a whole bunch of matches) - and they are GREAT.
Enjoy this one - looks like you guys are getting good weather en plus!

See you all next week at match 1 - I'll be there even if I have to highjack the Canada Post truck :)

PS - if you guys enjoyed the clinic - you should come out for the SR clinic at the end of the month - just as intense, but with a lot more MOVEMENT!
