Will a Swedish m96 sporter stock fit my m94 carbine?

To the best of my knowledge, the M94 was Mausers designation for that design.
M96 was Sweden's name for their long rifle version, as vs. the M94 carbine.
I do know that the actions are identical in dimension and footprint, so any stock inletted for one will fit the other.

Actually, there are some small dimensional differences between the m94 and m96 rifles. The good news is that the m96 stocks can be made to fit the m94 with a minimum of problems.

I have actually restored an M94 in the past, using a stock from the states. Your situation is much like mine, save the Lyman sights. I had a cut-down sporter M94 with an intact barrel, only the wood was removed. I looked around here on Canadian Gun Nutz and some other forums, notably the US based Gunboards, and finally found someone willing to sell me an original stock. An M96 stock will work, but for the amount of time, effort, tooling and expense it may just be worth your while to hunt for a stock and bands from Canada or the USA.
I imported my stock through Questar. It cost $375.00 all told, but is well worth it as I have a militarily complete, mostly matching (rifle matches itself, stock matches itself minus one band) M94/14 carbine. Quite uncommon and worth the dollars IMHO. It's value is estimated at roughly 850-1000 dollars by other collectors, with a proper bayonet (you can pick one up off of P&S Militaria, they have a couple left)

94 original barreled action.
I guessing the barreled action is complete all original. Any stock that fits the model 96,38 or94 swede will fit your barreled action. You may have to shorten it up a bit, but they will fit. Finding a correct model 94 stock is like looking for a needle in the hay stack.
