FRPC Kingston Spring IDPA Match May 28th 2011

Frontenac Rifle and Pistol Club will be holding their IDPA Spring match on May 28th 2011.

This will be a non-sanctioned match and is open to all holster qualified shooters.
Cost for the match is $30.00.

• 7 stages
• 100 rounds
• 9am registration, 9:30 fun begins
• 2 Pizza slices and a pop

Very interested. I'll have to wait and see how my relocation to Petawawa goes. I might be caught right in the middle of moving come the day of the match. Definitely going to mark it down on the calender though.

Max possible minimum round count is 126.
Not all stages will be at max rounds.

A well laid out 6 round stage can be just as much fun as an 18 round one. Especially when you have some creative competitors. Isn't that right cap'n WTF!

One of the funnest stages we have done at TMC is the 6 round card table game stage. Takes 3 seconds and 6 rounds to complete.

A six round stage will tighten up your scoring and remove some of the advantages the better shooters have over the less skilled. Nice to see a Marksman shooter knock off a Sharpshooter/Expert. It will happen on shorter stages.

I managed a stage win on Sunday with my revolver over the bottom feeders on a four round stage. ...and my ineptness with a revolver is legendary.

Nope. IDPA max rounds per string is 18. (See Rule CoF 19 on page 13 of the current rule book.)

There is no max per stage as long as each component string does not exceed 18.

Minor technicality.

For practical purposes, strings are just multiple stages using the same props and setup.
