I have been looking at the Redfield Revolution scopes...probably 3-9x40. I really don't know much about these scopes. Anybody have any experience with them? Good quality? Obviously compared to other scopes in the price range.......3200, fullfield II etc. I have had really good luck with the Burris fullfield II's but want to mix it up a bit as i already have a few of them. love to hear your opinions/experiences.

search

run a search on the optics pages, should be lots of stuff there as they have been discussed a fair bit. Also, try to google redfield revolution scope reviews, should get you what you need.

the 3-9 x 40 duplex reticle scope is $199. so it is less than the bushnell 3200, its closer to the banner in price but way better in quality. You can get the redfield with the accu-range reticle for $219.

Redfield are on most of my rifles...

For the $, you can't beat them. I have a 3x9x50 on my T/C .270, 2x7x33 on my Marlin336 and a 4x12x40 on my .17hmr. Fantastic glass, good quality and I feel better buying something that is still made in North America as opposed to something made in China.

My Redfield showed up today. (Redfield Revolution 3-9x40) First impression is good. Fit and finish seems very nice. The pictures I had seen of it showed it as a very dark grey colour. Its is Black. No issue with that.

To me it seems to have a very mild Tactical look to it. Works well for me as its going on my M14.

Has a red emblem on the right side of the scope. Looks good....seems to give it a bit of character.

When I first saw the picture of the acurange reticle I really liked it. Thought it would be a nice retical to shoot with. When looking through the scope the reticle is much smaller than I originally thought. Far less noticable than the pictures of it show.

Got it mounted tonight on my M14 with a set of Millet rings.

I am hoping to get to the range Thursday and try it out but it might not happen. So far i am very happy with my choice on buying a Redfield Revolution. I will try to do a bit of a range report aswell.

Very good scope, clarity and very recoil resistant, you dont alway have to pay big money for big quality... JP.

Just picked up my 3-9x40 redfield. Looks and feels solid. Will try it out on the sks and a .22 rifle this weekend. Asphalt599, how is that range report.
