AR-15 Muzzle Brake Tests

Looking at the video, I have to wonder if the SEI brake overcompensates because the original design was meant for the M14 platform. I wonder if it would be 'about right' on a Mini-14 as opposed to the straight-line AR.
 
I'd have loved to see the NEA hybrid thrown in as well for comparison. I still have a Phantom 5C2, an A2 and an NEA Hybrid in my parts bin, still trying to decide which to install on my 14.5" upper ;) You reviewed 2 of 3... *hint-hint*.

I want to grab one more brake before I do another shoot... I have an NEA Hybrid and a KAC TT.

I don't have two guns built identically that I will be able to shoot back to back... each of these videos was separated by a short detach/attach session on a vice.

In the interest of testing though, I may reshoot all of these brakes/FH because I have since changed the rail/gasblock on my 11.5" bbl test gun (not that it shoots any different, but science!).
 
Yeah, I didn't mean on separate gun, I just meant to re-include the 5C2 in the next video when you also test the NEA hybrid, preferably back to back ;)

Bear in mind the A2 provides no braking, just compensation.

Claven2; do you mean the 5C2 or the 5M2? C = comp, M = muzzle brake. I do have both.
