I am trying to find the best solution for locks for my 8 Glock collection, I have tried the trigger locks and they are too bulky and the cable lock are not much better when trying to pack them into an other case. I have seen a lock called the Visualock but I cant find anywhere to buy them, the other thing I have seen is a Magazine lock but again dont know where to buy them, the last option is ofcourse the glock locking system but I am not sure if that can be added to a pistol afterwards or not. Does anyone have any idea where I can buy such locks or other idea to make it easier to transport them locked?

I'm pretty sure Visualock went out of business. I have about a dozen or so and when I tried getting some more for my new additions, couldn't find any anywhere. It's a shame, they were a good, clean, sleek solution.
What about these cheap small and flat trigger locks that need a two-pronged little key to unscrew? They used to come with many rifles and handguns from their dealers. They certainly satisfy the letter of the law. I am also of the impression that if you separate the slides from the frames it's legally equivalent to having a trigger law as far as the law is concerned. When I travel, certainly more so by plane, this is what I do, take them apart but better check if this alternative solves your problem.

With some guns you can cut off the inner tabs for a better fit.

I also asked them if it was possible to have one key fit
various locks. You don't want to have to fumble with ten keys (or more).
They did not reply to that.

I use these as well and ordered from CanadaAmmo. It's like $10 for 12 of them and they are very unobstructive when it comes to storage in cases.

If you're a handy sort what about making up cables that pass up through the mag wells and out the ejection ports that use small keyed alike padlocks? Once connected pull the cable through a little to draw the small padlocks up into the magwell.
The steel cable and crimp connectors are available from any number of hardware stores and marine supply places. You can buy boxes of small keyed alike padlocks from any locksmith store. And to protect the guns from the rubbing with the metal parts you can get heat shrink tubing to put over the padlock parts and cable and fittings in various sizes from any good electronics supply outlet such as Future Electronics and many others.
EDIT- Reading this idea again I realized that lowering the slide onto the cable would soon cut through the soft heat shrink tubing. To get around that a 2 inch length of nylon or PVC water supply tubing put on before the second end loop is crimped on would act as a protector for this bit where the crushing would wear thruough the tubing.
I'm liking the idea so much compared to the usual trigger locks that I think I'm going to pick up some cable, tubing and heatshrink and have a go at this for a few of my own guns. Piccies to follow somtime by the weekend or soon after once I go shopping for the goodies.

Don't hold your breath. I tried to contact them a couple of months ago to get a confirmation they were still in business before placing an order and never got a reply. I even called their main official distributor (Tactical Store dot com, who still have a page dedicated to Visualocks) and they didn't seem to know what I was talking about, said they didn't carry any of their products.
About the single key, that's part of their design. They're all opened with the same hex-type rod.
Got my hopes up for a second there, but they won't ship'em to Canada.
I have found a new lock that Brownells is carrying that is like the visual lock but does not use a rod though the barrel it is more or less a locking dumb round. It is made by omega gun locks. I have a set of 4 9mm and 4 40 s&w shipping right now and I'll post how they work out.
Visualock website quotes me 30 bucks for 1 9mm lock PLUS $26 shipping !
TOTAL= $55 U.S. for one lock ? No wonder the link to their Canadian dealers dosn't work, who is going to buy them !
I like the idea of low profile locks but at that price i will stickm with my Masterlock combination trigger locks.
