I have an old stevens pump in the locker that I'm not using for anything. Just found out this weekend that stevens made a 620 in a "trench gun", very similar to the winchester 1897 trench gun for WWII. I was thinking of making my stevens into a clone of the 620 trench gun and just wondered if anyone here was familiar with these particular shot guns. Or if they new if the Winchester heat guard/bayo mount would work on the stevens. Also if anyone new of a place in Canada were to get the reproduction heat guards. Yes I'm "bubba'ing" this shot gun. No I'm not going to try to pass if off as real. Just thought I might as well do something with it as just sitting there doing nothing, (my BPS and B2000 do all the work) and add to my growing Milsurp colllection

The Stevens trench guns (the 520-30 and 620) used different heat shields than the Winchesters, having a distinct plum finish to them. There used to be reproductions available in the States of the model for the 520-30, as far as I know the same one would fit a 620.

I'll have to keep an eye for the stevens heat guard. Any of you guys had anything to do with the Norico's M1897? are they any good?

Wow those are some expensive parts on that website.

I'm doing a Winchester Model 12 Trench Clone and ordered everything through Numrich Gun Part Corp.

And the ship to Canada at the proper 200 limit too :)

I was under the impression that you couldn't ship parts like that across the border with out export permits? Or is a heat gaurd kinda a grey area?
