How much stuff can you hang on a M2?

I was going to order a Mesa side saddle for my M2 but I know its inertia system can be affected by weight. I'm trying to decide between the one with or without the rail. I thought it would be nice to have the option to mount a T1 sometime if I felt like it. Has anyone had theirs stop cycling due to weight on the gun?

I have a M1 and and m2
the real answer is very little stuff.
A rail with a small aimpoint micro or somthing that size is the most if do for optics.
as or shell holder the mesa is kinda heavy.
the rerason i started making our velcro side saddles was to fun down on weight and bulkyness.
I have a 7rd dsc o nthe frame and 6 rd on the buttstock
The other think to think about is a weapons light, same again lighter the better.
