These guys in Pennsylvania take their coyote hunting seriously.

Here is the info that came with the pics. Hope this hasn't been posted already. Couldn't find it in a search.

These guys have been busy this winter!

This is Tony and Terry Undercuffer, and Punk Shick of Hawthorn, PA.
You think we don't have a coyote problem in western Pennsylvania? Well think again!

These three boys shot over 400 hundred coyotes in western Pennsylvania from the first of November to the first week of February 2011 within twenty-five miles of my home town.

There are 208 coyotes in this picture and the balance of the coyotes had mange. I do truly thank these three boys for all the help in the control of these predators!

Pennsylvania you say????

these boys get around because I could of swore last week they were in South dakota.

This is the kind of email that has a tendency to change locations/people/numbers killed as it goes around. Regardless of the true story, it remains from the pics, that an impressive number of dogs were killed.

Yeah, I guess you were right. It was in South Dakota. Don't know how or why it got changed to Pennsylvania. :jerkit:

Story is here: http://www.heartlandoutdoors.com/index.php/tims/story/these_are_some_real_coyote_hunters/

Well, either way that's a lot of 'yotes.

What a load of crap! No way it was Pennsylvania if you know anything at all about landscape, trees, or the mule deer heads displayed along with the coyotes. It would be nice if people would think a little bit before posting garbage without any verification of the facts.

Picture was taken in Alberta. That 's my sister on the right and two of her girlfriends. All except three of those coyotes were "ugly eyed" to death. The other three smashed into farm machinery trying to escape from the three Witches of Wetaskiwin.
Hope this clears things up.

Finally, the truth! Either way, 400 less coyotes.

If it's on the internet then it must be true?R:d:

Interestingly enough, I don't think anyone disputes they killed those coyotes. The location was changed, from what I have gleaned, by the guys in South Dakota who originally shot the coyotes. Somehow, saying it happened in Pennsylvania was a joke. When it was pointed out to me that it didn't happen in Pennsylvania I did my best to determine where it happened and if it was true. I believe it did happen and it happened in South Dakota and have posted a correction (with the website).

For me, the bottom line is I would have loved to have been in on that harvest where ever it was.

Ditto. I'm not sure I would want to be there for all the work of putting them up for the sale.
