CMMG Kit arrived

Holy Crap! How many Blazer rounds left that much lead in the chamber?

My kit shoots a whole bunch of different ammo with very good reliability. Accuracy, however, is a whole different stoy. Almost everything I've tried in it shoots like a shotgun. :(

Oh, and mine now extracts dummies and empties by pulling the charging handle by hand, after I attacked the extractor and the extractor groove in the chamber insert with a file and dremmel. :)

WOW! I have put more than that in one single session and have not gotten any lead deposits at all. Granted mine has seen only a very limited amount of Blazers and everything else has been either copper plated or well lubricated, but I think that much lead from 200 rounds is still too much. Maybe you chamber insert is tighter than it should be?

ok, Take 2.

Used Federal this time. First 200 rounds went OK, one or 2 misfeed. Switched to .223, fired 40 rounds, came back to .22 and then when all "fun" started again. A lot of ejection problems, misfeed. What is your experience going back in forth in between calibers?

Have had no issues switching with mine, but it does not like the Federal 525 ammo at all. I've had much better luck with Dynapoint GT's, 333 pack ammo and American Eagle.

Its all fixed now. Adjusted and polished rails, lubed it and it worked 100 % reliable today - 300 rounds. Also, switched my hammer to non notched version as well. I am thinking to put together a guide for a new users to avoid my mishaps.
