AR15.com lower receiver

I'll admit their lowers look pretty nice, but I don't like the number of times ar15.com is stamped/machined into the lower.

ETA: FYI, it is a fully ambidextrous billet lower, with safety/bolt/mag releases on both sides. Magpul furniture, with Giessele trigger, and the safety is a 45-degree model made by Battle Arms Development (IIRC).

Some pics posted on their forums:

What I'd prefer to see is a Canadian manufacturer make a fully ambidextrous lower, with bolt and mag releases on both sides. Thought the mag release could be a 3rd party product, the bolt release would need to be part of the lower's design.

Theyre likely getting churned out at the same plant that produces the Spikes Biohazard lowers, and 2-3 others. Google "Seekins Precision" Nice product, long wait times. I think Spikes dumped them after sketchy delivery/qc issues.

At the very least I'd like to get my hands on the LPK. The ambi selector and mag release look sweet.

The safety is the BAD-ASS (Battle Arms Development):

The ambi mag release is a Norgon, I believe, which is available at Alberta Tactical Rifle or through Brownells. Apparently the Norgon inflects the least damage to the lower, compared to other manufacturers, but I can't confirm that.

The 5.56 markings may be a significant problem. We just had an order of S&W lowers denied permits for that reason.

Based on the feedback at AR15.com, there appears to be a lot of State-side demand for multi caliber marked lowers, so its possible they may run a batch. If you, or another Canadian vendor asks, they may very well run a multi marked batch as they can sell it within the US easily enough.

They need to be ITAR registered to export.... that cost a lot of money for the company, please correct me if I am wrong--

It's a business decision that they will have to make, and if the profits are worthwhile, then it could happen. But we won't know until a Canadian vendor asks.

x2, a fully ambi billet canadian lower I am very interested in.

From a thread on AR15.com on the billet lowers, in response to my question about exporting to Canada:

So if a Canadian vendor wants to explore this further, I'd suggest contacting this fella.
