Did you get it in Canada ?
Those S&W's have been an extremly good deal on closeout in the States! Round bodied triggerplate action. Every thing I have read has been positive about them other than from the guys with the ingrained hatred of all guns made in Turkey not just the ones that actually deserve the bad raps.
Price ???

I ordered it from the states -- Yep some guys don't like Turkish guns -- I think that some distributors ordered bottom line guns from their smaller makers that had lots of issues. There are a bunch of great guns being made there now. CNC machining is the same anywhere. The S&W guns are made in a S&W plant with American managers and Turkish labor. This gun was a Kimber design and somehow through a licencing screw up, S&W got the patent. Got a lot going for it:D

I have small hands and with the trigger guard being larger on dt guns, the recoil beats on my mid finger. Now this does cause less problems in the field but on a clays course the discomfort is significant enough as to effect scores. My 16ga collection is all double triggers but I can mitigate by loading soft recoiling loads. One of my favorite woodcock guns is a Ithaca/SKB model 100 single trigger 20ga with the same amount of drop at comb & heel as the S&W. Believe me , I've been through the gambit of trying to correct the problem as I Do love and prefer dt guns -- On advice from others I've tried different methods of gripping, finger guards (AKA rubber bumpers), GripsSwell Gloves etc.. This is a common problem shooting double triggered guns and the industry is full of cures.
Cheers, John

How do double triggers do damage to your middle Finger?
