The part of interest starts about halfway through that video.

Just wondering if anyone has seen these around, and if so are they anywhere near the $600 USD price point that the narrator gives in the video. I haven't heard much about it yet, but I'm hoping to pick one up when they become available: I dig the look, and it's a damn sight cheaper than a Springfield custom shop TRP or Baer Monolith.

To each their own! I like the original, but the different appearance of the full dust cover appeals to me as well. I suppose I'll probably end up with a few of the conventional-looking ones (only have an Armco Norc Sport now - just enough to know that I like the platform) and, hopefully, one of these full-dust-cover models soon.

We are waiting on the supplier to import them and it can take a while. We don't have an eta on when they will come in they just told us they are working on it.

Well at least they're working on it. So that's at least promising! Definitely keep us posted!

Looking forward to hearing more, Scott! I picked up my GSG 1911 from you guys and have been extremely happy with your service.

Incidentally, I popped in recently after a trip to DVC and saw your current crop of RIA 1911's. The shiny ones sure are pretty! Still, I'm keeping some money set aside until these full dust cover models come in. Only a matter of time, one would think.
