Does anyone know where I can get a couple of SVT-40 mags that have NOT been cut down?

The sarcastic responses are due to the shortage of magazines. The rifles were issued with three magazines, but when the Soviets put them into storage they must have melted down the spare mags (or they are all sitting in a warehouse somewhere yet to be found.)

So any spare mags come from rifles that were stripped down for parts. This means two things, they are rare and if you can find them they are expensive probably $100+.

If you want one without a cut mag it is probably easier to buy a new rifle.

They are not cheap and they are cut down or pinned to 5 rounds max prior to coming into Canada. They do come up for sale on occasion, most likely from the states.

You see, this is why I dont like using these forums. Try to ask a question and always get some smartasses two cents.

Yes, some people make a tremendous amount of posts but rarely say anything intelligent.

There is still a shortage of SVT40 mags coming into the country. Keep looking, I do.

"...probably $100+..." $125 plus US for an original. Gunparts, Stateside, wants $58.45US for a reproduction. It'd have to be pinned to 5 before it can be imported and Gunparts will not do it.
SVT-40 mags are like hen's teeth here.
