A post in another thread got me thinking. Shotguns for hunting have to be plugged to 3 shells (2+1). Why is that? OK...say you justify it for waterfoul/bird hunting. Whatever the argument is thats fine I can live with that, but why for deer hunting. Every other guy in the bush has got 5 rounds in his rifle. Your doing exactly the same hunt. Its not like you are using a superior weapon/tool. If anything you are at a disadvantage using a shotgun, having limited range and accuracy. What do you guys think...am I missing something?
