Awhile ago we talked about a Rhino Arms 500 round mag.
Well it never happened.

But i remember someone from edmonton was working on making a 150 round drum mag, and i wanted to find that information.

Anyone remember that? and can give me the information?

Thanks

Why not just make a belt-fed conversion for the 10/22? Since some companies already make new aftermarket receivers for those... it should be feasible.

:D

(Our version would have to be semi-only to please our gun & freedom hating comrades, of course)

On another note, this kind of looks cool... if it doesn't jam like most higher-capacity 10/22 mags:

my 10/22 is a tack driver so i don't want to change out parts just want to fire a sh!t load of ammo

If your 10/22 is accurate, you might want to fire fewer, more deliberate shots with it.

Turning it into a bullet-hose isn't likely to maintain your accuracy and may harm it.

Getting your barrel excessively hot while shooting it, generally correlates with a rapid degradation of it's inherent accuracy.

Nope, never sent it. He got all my info, then dissapeared. He's been here regularily, and completely avoids these threads.

Something must have happened....that's life...but you'd think he'd be decent enough to at least send a PM

I'm sorry to hear that.:(

I guess I don't feel so bad my submissions didn't win.:D

Go buy a lottery ticket, you should have some good karma stored up.:)

How do we not have 500 round drums if there are no mag restrictions on .22's.?
Why are they not at stores everywhere?
50 seems to be about the max companies make reliably.

It would take one magical spring to not dent rounds while loading it and still have the right spring pressure to feed properly when full and nearly empty. Other than that its just going to take someone with enough interest and funding to make it happen

Heavy target barrel and i have a bunch of 25 rounders that i run through all at once, no problems at all losing accuracy

Rhino arms was looking at making something called the BRICK a 500 round mag but it never came to be, and they have removed all information from the site.

I am positive there is a huge market.
Belt fed out of a 2 or 3 hundred round box would be the ticket for me.
Or beta c style dual drums with 200 rnd cap.

We need a higher capacity mag for our 10-22's! Belt fed would be a heck of a lot of fun too! Can anyone explain and/or explain to me what would easier to make, 200 round mag or belt fed? I figure that a belt fed 10-22 would probably need a new receiver and a retro fit kit would be very difficult.
