Hey all!! this looks to be a great forum here, Im glad I came across it last night while searching "used rifles for sale in bc" lol,


Little about myself,
Im 23 and reside in Kelowna BC. Ive been hunting since 14 and I enjoy anything "redneck" and outdoors!


I prefer to hunt for meat and not for trophy, In our area we hunt for mule deer mostly and the odd whitey. moose as well! there are lots of bear to, but I prefer not to shoot them

I shoot with a .243 and never plan to change cal.


Im looking forward to learning from others and making new friends
 
LOL Welcome aboard! I'm from Penticton so have fun out in K-town.

Never going to switch calibers?? Once you meet up with some people on the range, you'll be shooting everything but .243.....

As usual, always have fun and SAFETY FIRST!
 
A rifle you use well, really drill 'em in there, is special indeed. With the right bullet for the task, your .243 will cleanly harvest plenty meat.
That said, try to find a single 'nutter' that can stop at just one caliber :stirthepot2:

the remington .243 has been in our family since my grandpa/father used to shoot goofer back in swift current sask on the farm,

Its my first rifle, and the only rifle ive hunted with, Aside from a buck I shot last year with my dad's 30/6 Pump. (his gun was closer then mine and it was a rush situation)

Over the years lots of people have bugged me about not shooting around tree's becuase twigs will stop my bullets etc etc etc, Yes ive heard them all , Every year it kills something and has never let me down, it's even taken some imature bulls.




I plan on one day buying a 30/6 so when my gf comes hunting she can shoot the .243 and I can shoot the 30/6 for bigger game. and or just keep it as a back up, But I plan to stay true to my 243 as my main gun.


Im always in the market for used 30/6's for sale, pump action or bolt and clip, as well as 10/22 ruger's and im currently trying to find parts / clips for remington nylon77/mohawk10c .22

@elimsprint Im on the west side, Most people when I say westbank are like " huh?" So I just go with kelowna,


I hunt peachland/bear main and sometimes beaverdale
