Marlin XT

Just checked the Triggers and Bows site.
They have some in :dancingbanana:

They will do mail order at an additional charge and the guns are about $20 more than Lebaron's.

I'm calling Montreal on Monday. if they don't have an ETA for delivery to Markham my next call is to Brantford and get one in the mail.

I'm shooting an XT22R next Sunday one way or the other.

Lebarons does carry a Marlin 10 rnd nickel plated clip for bolts & post 1998 semis. Code 71902 for $15.

I'd really like one of the XT22R's for my young lad, but apparently Lebarons (Markham) is having trouble getting them from Marlin. Anyone know if they are available through the web store??

Yeah but I do agree that Marlin should get their #### together with hi-capacity magazines.

Yeah but I do agree that Marlin should get their s**t together with hi-capacity magazines.

I've read a couple of reviews of the Shooter's Ridge Marlin mag from sites down south. General concensus: All Plastic POS don't waste your money.

We're hoping these turn out OK. These are the new "Marlins" being produced by the Remington folks. A lot of flak going around on Marlin 60's and 795's that have quality issues now that the old Marlin plant and their employees no longer make them. Issues like bad barrel crowns, sights off, dovetail grooves uneven, poorly finished bolts, etc.

I bought a 795 for my son in law before the transition. It seems OK. I looked for flaws and didn't find any but we have not fired it yet for function. It was made by Marlin employees in the Marlin factory.

I love my four Marlins but I only have older ones. I hope the problems are only temporary.
