The milsurp in me always loves a good book sale

Printed in 1939

The rest are 1914-1919 printings, the only problem is that one of the books has a binding that is going to come off. Does anyone know anyone who can repair these older books and bindings?

this is going to sound bizarre, but either a museum or a church library should be able to steer you to a restorer-that's what they're called- these guys deal with books that are hundreds of years old, esp bibles, that sort of thnig- esp the roman catholic faith comes to mind- there might even be a resource in winnipeg

There are a couple of custom and restoration binderies in Winnipeg.

I usually deal with Phil-Mar Trade Bindery, but they do books in lots of thousands, not single copies.

You want a custom bindery or a book restorer. There are a few.

NICE books! I have a couple of them in my own little library, but that top one is worth a shelf all of its own; this is the first copy I have seen.... and the information inside is essential.

Good purchase!

Talquin, you might want to give Bison Books in Winnipeg a call. They are on Graham near the 'Bay. They deal in used books and can probably make a recommendation.
