What can i get

Maybe it's just me but I wouldn't hunt with any thing in .223. You should look for some thing in .308. Unless your thinking of double tapping that deer...

Also if you take some time and search the forums you will find a post made that outlines what's non restricted in the black gun world.

Just wanna use it for varmint hunting...i have a 270 for deer! Tried searching with no luck. d:h:

All variants of the Ar-15 are restricted.

There are several non-restricted options based on other designs, some of them taking AR mags.

There are many threads addressing this issue.
