Looks like Single Stack is dead, now we have a proposed "classic division". My bet is the proposal will be so full of fail it will die. Maybe that was the plan from day one. Everything was allready laid out, just use the USPSA rules.

+1,..I was hoping they used the USPSA rules for SS.....and why not,.they work! The rules for Classic look decent.
Where did you see the rules??
Doesn't the change to "Classic Division" simply reflect the intent to limit the division to 1911 genre pistols??

If that happens then it would make no sense to shoot minor (9mm). Tripp Research has 10 round 40 S&W mags. I am going to purchase a 1911 but holding off until the rules are down on paper. I think the 8/10 rule will apply because in some parts of the world, civies cannot own anything over 9mm/38 cal.I was talking the 8 rounds major and 10 rounds minor that USPSA uses. From what I understand IPSC is not limiting mag capacity for major. Gives 40 shooters extra round or two over 45.
I'll just shoot SS in USPSA rather than deal with screwed up IPSC rules.
