Me and my BLR 450 Marlen are going to the Yukon for work and hunting!I

I am headed to the Yukon I just got a new job there!
I'm bringing my stainless steal BLR 450 Marlen for bear protection.
When I finish the job it will be hunting season so I am thinking about going hunting in the Yukon just because I will already be there.
Any advice for a out of province Hunter in regards to regulations.

Need to have lived there for one continuous year to hunt, otherwise you must be guided.

Not to be the wet blanket but as stated no you can't. If you make a good friend up here they could guide you with a special license but only 100 are issued every year and a local and only obtain one in every 3 year period.

After one year of residence you are considered local and can get a license for pretty much everything with little hassle. Just look up the Yukon hunting regs on google and that will tell you the full story.

It doesn't matter I canceled out of the job because they are not covering traveling expenses to get there.
I have too much experience in mining and mining expiration to put up with a cheap-o outfit.
I am a BC Indian.
Besides there is plenty of jobs and hunting for me in northern BC

Ya you gotta watch out for that. A crap load of cheap exploration companies kicking around. Usually you're better off working a deal to fly out of where ever you live already as most juniors only flare for a couple years.

They make it sound good until the time to put up some cash nothing I haven't heard before!
First it's always traveling expenses next they're trying to feed you KD!
Way too much work around for guys with experience in the Bush to put up with that.
