Which Beretta do you own ?

what did that cost? pm? is it worth it?

IIRC the gun and new barrel/gunsmith work came up to around 400$ shipped. Was worth it but I think they used an old .380ACP reamer, my chamber is a little undersized and I'll have to get it repassed at my local gunsmith, some rounds fail to fully seat in the chamber.

i had 90 two fs did not care for it much.

Really? My brother in law just got one and I think its a great pistol.

Heres some pics.

As a person who used to own a Type M Beretta 92 compact, the Sig P239 is a good substitute with an even better DA/SA trigger pull.

Still miss the type M though...

Finally put my finger on the trigger of my new px4 storm wow what a great shooting gun.i will have years of fun with this one. As for my 92 fs that i had, might give it another go it's not far sold it to my brother.

I have a PX4 as well... I haven't had time to shoot it yet, but I am impressed with the construction as well as the "pointability"; insanely natural.

I had a friend dryfire/point with it as well (I didn't say anything) and he declared it the most natural-pointing handgun he's ever held. For this, Beretta gets an A+ :)

I'm sure it will be a sweet shooter.

i shoot a sig 229 as my main gun, but the p239 felt weird in my hand at the store, id need to shoot one to make a proper judgement though.

in the end, ill buy both. i love small guns

I have a PX4 Storm D variant and it has unexpectedly become my first choice amongst all others (Glock, M&P9, Sig, etc...). It has a double action only trigger group that, even though is long and (fairly) heavy with no trigger reset, it is good enough to put all the rounds in the lighter colored rings of the blue and green Marsians. I bought it with no expectations that it would be the platform of choice for those weekend training seminars so I am very surprised that it has been totally reliable (it is pushed hard) and consistently accurate. Highly recommended!

Wow, Bellero, pretty pistol!

I just bought a 92A1 and am waiting for it to arrive. It is my first handgun. Many years ago, I used to shoot with my dad, who owned a S&W Model 39-2, 9mm semi-auto. But that gun is now classed as Prohibited (101mm barrel) and I haven't fired it in years.

Really looking forward to shooting my new Beretta! Any suggestions what I should be shooting (i.e. ammo type)?

Thanks!

Hey Just installed a Wolff 13 lb competition hammer spring in my 92A1 and WOW! What a difference it makes. The double action pull is much lighter.

I seem to remember seeing it on the Shooting Edge website last year.
