Hevi Shot Dead Coyote

Go with the T shot if you want to shoot coyotes at longer ranges. I can make amazing patterns with mine @ 65 yards.

I use the Dead Coyote 00 Buck for bears. Never had the chance to take one with it yet though.

I reload both and T steel shooting a coyote may work but nothing like a no. 4 buck in lead or heavy shot. I am not talking no. 4 shot but no. 4 buck.
T is .20 diameter and no.4 buck .24. The no.4 buck hits way harder. You may be talking about T heavy shot?? also I am not sure and I agree that works well but still not as good at 4B.
I would still not shoot a coyote with either over 35 -40 yards and that is with a 3 1/2" 12ga.

Should have been more specific, any shops in the maritimes, or places that will mail.

thanks,

Only place I have seen factory loads Shoota was in NB and you know the place.Like 40.00 a box of 10 in 4B and only 3". Never seen any 3 1/2. They will ship no problem by courier but best to make up a full order with rife ammo or powder or whatever if you need since the price for shipping is about the same for one box or a few. Good Luck
If nathan321 is shooting heavy shot and not steel in T maybe he can PM you with where he gets his.

I've been using Win. Supreme in 3" #4 plated buck out to about 40 yards with an IM choke and Ive never had to shoot twice. Its alot cheaper than the heavy shot stuff. I get nice tight patterns out to 60 yards.

lol yup I do know the place, I am perplexed how come nobody carries any different ammunition other than what you can buy at CT or Wal Mart, nobody has anything in stock, nobody carries anything even 9mm ammo is hard to come by even SFRC is sold out according to their website. Well I guess my expectations are just to high, even an ammo dealer has nothing. I guess I need to buy a .30-30 a .308 and start shooting my .30-06 more cause that's the only ammo available around this place. Absolute dog sh*t.

Check out Hnatiuks in NS. Last time I was there they had 10 gauge 000 federal buckshot on thier ammunition shelves.
This is the only hunting store in the maritimes that stocks anything out of the norm' that you can still hunt with IMHO.

I got my 2.75" 00 Buck Dead Coyote @ Hnatiuks.
3.5" T Dead Coyote was a gift from a friend who lives in Yellow Knife. So he got it somewhere between here and Yellow Knife!

Agree Shoota, it was always bad but getting to the point now we cannot get anything. The only thing keeping me going for the most part is my stash from years ago and friends good enough to bring me back stuff from out west when they drive home the odd time.take care

Nobody carries what you are looking for because not too many other folks want to buy it. You'd be hard pressed to find that coyote stuff in Edmonton, never mind Atlantic Canada.
Plus when a retailer takes a chance with a few flats of these specialty shells which are expensive at his cost and shipping and tries to make some margin on it, guys go whoa I'm not paying that for it, I'll just ##### about what isn't available where I live. FS

Hi faststeel I hear what you are saying but it is available out your way at two places for sure. Comparing where we are to your area when it comes to any product is like comparing our tax rates we are not even close to being the same.We cannot even buy win 209 primers here.It sucks down here big time take care

Here is a good example. I had to order in wood pucks today for my bradley smoker. No one had them in stock, in any flavor. Coming from Ontario they say.
