At any rate ... 6 stages each day ... here are my videos ... big thanks to my squad member and camera man ... also, huge thanks to all the ROs who helped me out and to everyone who had tips/suggestions ... pretty much a big THANK YOU to everybody for making my first match a great time!

Before the criticisms and such start, please remember the following ... I've been shooting pistols less than 2 years and this was my very first match ... so please, anything constructive, I would love to hear it!

Looks like an awesome match Sorry i missed it :(

as for critisism... i sure don't have any. your hits are there, you're very accurate. just work on your speed. I did it the wrong way around... i can miss really fast lol.

Sure was fun! I had a great time and made it through both days :)

Accuracy isn't where I want it to be, but getting there ... next match is up here in Fort Mac ... then after that I can make it to Provincials in July back in Brooks ... should be a couple more this year that I can get to as well :D

And you are welcome to try out that Tanfoglio any time we meet up!

Looking good buddy. Are you coming to our qualifier? Give it some thought, and let me know :)

PS, you need a magnet on your belt for those 'pick up the magazine' stages.

If you need help in the accuracy department, try a little pistol silhouette, and with IPSC mind that front post!

Looks like you have a good foundation, now it's time to practice a bit more and critique your own videos.

Half of IPSC is mental. Understanding the stage, and the other half is shooting it.

2 Thumbs Up!

Wow that was awesome!!!! I am very new to this, in fact, I am still waiting for my rpal to come through. Ipsic looks great. What class are you in? What is the cost of equipment for someone to get started?

Well I wouldn't say I was awesome. This was my first one after all ... There were some awesome shooters there for sure tho!

I was shooting my Tanfoglio Limited Custom II In .40 .. It's a standard division gun. There is a thread on here somewhere with some videos of it that i posted when I first got it .. since this was my first match I'm considered unclassified.

As for equipment costs .. Well as little or as much as you like, depending on what you want to do with it ... All my gear I was wearing there (including safety gear, extra mags, belt, holster, gun etc) was probably close to $3000 .. More depending on what gun you want to buy .. But it could be as little as a production Springfield XD 40 off the shelf and some basic gear to get you started. So really, it all depends on what you would like to do with it.

Read up about it on the IPSC Canada website and also the IPSC Ontario website to see how to get started. Hope that helps!

from the looks of it's i'm going to say standard, but be may be in production...

as for startup cost... well get a norc np-22 and basic gear 500ish? plus 2-300 for your black badge course (you have to take it before you can compete).

plus a wack of ammo for practice and your black badge.

i'd say $800 on the VERY low end....

and you can literally spend tens of thousands if you have the money to do so. I wish i did lol.

Sweet!!! Just started too, did my 1st match a couple weeks ago. Looking good.

very adictive sport

I looked pretty friggin nervous! LoL

Just need more dry fire practice when I get the time .. Improve those draws and reloads .. Speed and accuracy on the draw is really my biggest concern right now. I practice the draw quite a bit just dry fire ... Just need more time to do it!! Dammit ... Workin too much. Gotta pay for the guns/gear/ammo somehow I guess ...
