More clones.. CZ 858 **More pics**

Hey Dimitri, I was speaking with you briefly @ silverdale yesterday {guy w/80's squires bingham} and yes guys, I will attest to the fact that as nice as the pics are those rifles are truly awesome up close. The "stubbie" was shooting 4-6" flames out of the thing every time he fired.....my kids were awe struck:D

Thank you guys, yes the colors do look better in person.

Hi plinker777, this trip i was short on time, and to sight in the "shorty" was first priority, but if i'll see you there again, i'll be happy to let you and your kids to try them out.. :)
See ya.

Dmitri, erase some of the olds pm's you have so I can send you some more :0

Sorry B, its done.. :)

Gorgeous Dmitri - l like the one with the weaver base the best.

Thanks Tony, it is also my favorite, it was a challenging process to bring that weaver base so low, and to exact center, its a great shooter.

What's the best way to sight in a side mounted scope? Considering that my SVD clone has a 4x24 posp scope with 1000m rangefinder, on what distance it should be zeroed.
My "VSS" clone has a scope exactly in the center, and it was very easy to sight in. The
"SVD" is about 5/16" of center and when ever I sight it in, it only works well on that distance...

Any POSP gurus here? Help me out..

Distance should be no more that 100m as anything after 200m is useless in a x39 round due to huge bullet drop. Thats why I just sold both mine:(, great short range/gofer gun that looks cool but thats about it...The 1000m range finder is for the 54r round which has about the same ballistics as 308

Ping Exocet. He's been using a POSP on an 858 in service rifle competition out to 500m. I've seen him level some good scores on the deliberates. 41-3v(out of 50) on the 500m at the last match IIRC.
