Shotgun Scabbards

I bought one of these for my 14" Fabarm, but after trying it out with my Marlin GG, I'm going to have to buy another. 16" Marlin GG fits perfectly in the scabbard and locks in place easily.

Really??
I have a grizzly with ghost ring sights and the high, sharp cornered front sight post snagged and ripped the lining of the scabbard every time I put the shotgun in.
To make the scabbard useable I had to turn it inside out and rip the entire lining right out of it.

Perfect scabbard for shotguns with bead front sights though.

-- Sorry, to hear your having that problem, Norton, Really, ----- as yet I haven,t , But know what you mean about that high sharp front sight, and I wondered about it , But not a problem so far, I am quite pleased with it .
 
Has anyone tried attaching this scabbard to the side of a tactical backpack? I tried putting the condor scabbard on one of those condor bags, and when I put an 870 18inch shotgun in, it was really sloppy. I'm wanting to get a maxpedition falcon II pack, and thinking of one of these scabbards for my 870 express 20inch rifled sight shotgun. Does anyone know if this will be tight or sloppy? I believe this scabbard is an NCstar.

in the as shipped configuration, my 12.5 griz fits fine with easy access to the stock
 
I currently have the Voodoo Tactical Scabbard and my 18.5" DA Grizzly with ghost ring sights and rail with Aimpoint Micro H1 do not fit. The Micro is what stops it from fitting. Without it I can use the scabbard fine.

Will this CanadaAmmo scabbard fit the mounted Micro sight? Will I also be able to fit a Mesa Tactical 6 shot side saddle?
 
What is the overall length of these scabbards. I was thinking I want it to hold my extra barrel when hunting. My barrel is ~24" long. Or, do you have something that may meet my needs more?
