Anyone use BL-C2 for 22-250

I dont think its all that usefull past 55gr bullets in 22-250, hopefully for you someone proves me wrong. blc-2 is still a fairly useful powder that can be used for a fair amount of other cartridges.

I have a couple pounds lying around and wondering if anyone has had any success with BL-C 2 with heavier 75gr and 80gr bullets? I can't find any load data on this combo.

Hodgdon list a few loads for BL-C2 up to a 60 gr bullet. If you have a standard twist 1-14 22-250 you probly willn't have much luck stabilizing a bullet heavier than 60 gr .have never tryed 60 ies in mine because the 55s are poor .40 through 52 gr I have shot 5 shot groups in the .45 " area.however BL-c2 should be a workable powder in the 30-30.

Ya I wasn't really sure it would be any good. I'm going to use some of it for 30-30. Maybe try it on my 260, don't really have much use for it but I want to use it up.

Let it give you a reason to buy another gun. I think its works pretty good in a 223 .

I was going to some this fall to work up a load for my father's 8x57 Mauser (175gr. Sierras).
