It's too bloody expensive to buy factory ammo. Gonna buy a cheap single stage Lee press and the .500 S&W dies. Question I have is where is a good place to buy bullets, brass, primers, and powder here in Canada or in the US? Thanks!

As far as bullits go, casting would be your best bet. Wayyyy cheaper than jacketed. Mould and furnace will set you back about $100, then you're off to the races

I'm currently waiting for my 500S&W package to arrive from Budget shooter supplies (see banner above). Henry's always done well for me. He's got Berrys 350gr plated bullets on his new website now, and he ordered a set of dies, mold, brass and gas checks. Should be here next week. I'm not even gonna try and get factory ammo around here. Straight to reloading for this cartridge.

Where you are in Ontario matters. Add it to your profile.
"...or in the US?..." Reloading equipment is ok. Components require the U.S. export permit. You'll find .50 S&W bullets of any kind are expensive. Still less so than factory ammo.
Assuming you kept the factory brass($42.95 per 50 for Hornady if you didn't), Hornady dies run $91.95(Lee doesn't list 'em), 350 grain XTP-MAG bullets run $46.95 per 50, $53.95 per 50 for 500 grain FP/XTP's from Shooter's Choice, in Waterloo. They're not the least expensive place, but .50 cal bullets won't be cheap nor particularly easy to find anywhere.
There's one cast bullet load on Hodgdon's site, but finding load data shouldn't be too much trouble. There's a fair bit of cast bullet data on-line.
Not seeing any Canadian suppliers of cast bullets. Cast bullets will require gas checks.

Speer 50 cal bullets are about the cheapest true jacketed bullet you can buy... we have brought in Speer and Hornady bullets but most customers shooting Hornady bullets have switched to Speer because they are a bit cheaper... we have lee 500 S&W dies in stock for $39.95.

Kitchener/Waterloo Ontario?

Nope, professional business don't meet people at tim hortons to exchange merchandise, cost both of us more in time and aggravation... with gas hitting a 1.50 + your time, insurance, wear and tear on your car is easier to pay 10-20 dollars and it will be at your door next day.
