.58 moose

so ive been thinking about making a wildcast for a bit so i was looking at some 12ga brass i had and was thinking what would it take to neck it down to .58 cal this would be a black powder round firing a .58 minie or other .58 bullet

i want something that looks some what looks like a .577-450 but in .58

i call it the .58 moose i was thinking it would not be hard to reline a 12ga double to .58 just get 2 .58 fast twist muzzleloader barrels turned down to what i need

what die would i need to do this job

Just get a .577BPE or .577 Nitro made and be happy.

naa to $$$ im going to make my own cartridge i like things that people dont have

i like the odd and weird cartridge's in fact this one would not be too hard to do all i got to do is draw it up get a reamer made and a die set made

of corse i do have one cartridge that i made already its a .17 short a .17 rimfire the same size as a .22 short

Have any specs for it? Velocity? Energy? Accuracy? Cost per round?

dont have a gun chambered for it and i dont have a round right now but i did have a smiple gun made for it just to test and see if it would work then destroyed it

i got to say its alittle hoter then a .22 short becuse of the light bullet i'll have to load one up to show
