AR Resources- Books, dvd's and such

Hi there, Im looking for opinions on some good resources for the ar/m4 Platform.

Im looking because im going to be doing a ground-up build and I have next to zero first person experience with the platform, only having fired and handled a few. I've already ordered a few books that I think will help me get started, as well as a norc m4 to screw around with before I get to the big ticket Items.

any point in the right direction would be helpful

I liked Sweeneys books on the AR and the Glock.

Not a build book but a great AR resource is Kyle Lamb's "Green Eyes and Black Rifles."

Brownelles has a video series on their web bench. How to build an AR15. The vid is also available on DVD from brownelles for $15 if memory serves.

All told it took me 5hrs to watch all the vids on brownelles. I am still no expert, but I can at least tell you what this or that part is called and where it's supposed to go......
