Mossberg 464

Has anyone tried a Mossberg 464? Is this a new lever for Mossberg? Is it a Winchester 94AE Copy? I handled one today briefly and thought it was well made. Opinions?

I shot one awhile back. Decent gun very accurate for lack of better style sights. I don't no if it is an exact copy of the winchester tho it maybe. They handled about the same for me

Gee I bet what,about 3million Model 94 owners would disagree with you. Have you even ever owned one? Let alone one that the half #### safety failed on?

I like the looks of the mossberg in grey laminate and stainless steel look. I've only seen pics not the actual gun. To bad there wasn't a run of 9422s built like that

Half-#### or tang safety sure beats the cross-bolt safety that Winchester came out with, at one point.

I've owned a 464 for 3 years now, no problems. Basically it's a Win 94 with a round bolt. Accurate enough gun for a lever gun

I personally don't see the point of buying a new .30-30 when there is no shortage of better built old ones out there. Just me though.

There are so many 94s out there that I can't understand why anyone would buy the Mossberg..I have handled, and fired one, and think its a POS.

A fella I hunt with is on his fourth extractor in his....Thats quality!

The bolt in my opinion is crude looking and design.Would never spend my hard earned money on one.

Just held one today, the fit and finish was poor, and I totally agree about the bolt. It all just felt cheap.
