ruger BX-25 magazine

has anyone ordered or tried the new ruger factory 25 rounder for the 10-22? called the BX-25. its on the ruger site. has stainless steel lips and can be disassembled for cleaning. looks to be plastic. anybody?

P&D in Edmonton has a bunch on order. Chances are really good that anybody else that deals in Ruger, will, too.

Bought 2 today from cabela's. Seem pretty solid, definately not as nice as my 3 tactical innovations aluminum. But they are much lighter. I have not used them yet, but the feed angle is identical to the factory 10 rounders and they seem to lock up nice in all three of my 10/22's. I have the sr-22, heavy barrel butler creek barrel with hogue overmolded and a standard carbine in camo. Hopefully I will have the chance to test them in the next week. I'll keep you posted. P.S. youtube has a pretty good review of them by gunblast.com

Did you order them online or goto a store? I can't seem to find them on their website.

The Ruger mags are no more expensive than any other aftermarket mags. So why not? These mags have been getting great reviews on rimfire central.

I mean just in terms of material. How much corrosion resistance do you really need for feed lips?
