RimfireSports.com problems?

Hi!

I would like some inputs on the website rimfiresports.com. Here's what happened:

Few months ago, made an order, received it, everything was fine.

Few weeks ago, made another order, received SOME of the items I ordered, and 1 item was "Out of Stock"(it was in stock when I submitted my order), on the bill saying it would be shipped as soon as available. Now the website don't say anymore that the item is "Out of stock". I tried 2 weeks ago to contact them via their "orders" & "support" emails addresses to know when it will be available or when I would receive the missing item.. I never got any answer back from them.

Has any of you been in that situation with them? Did they finally answer your emails, or shipped the item?

Did you try calling them? Look on your invoice from your last order, there may be a number on there if not on the website. They are fairly slow at communications for some reason, but have always come through in the end for all the orders I have made.
 
I also placed an order on May 5th and have yet to receive it. I've sent a couple of emails requesting for at least the tracking number but still no replies.

I'm not too worried at this point so I'll wait a few more weeks.
 
yup....the shipping price may be right, but don't expect your items to arrive within the next few days when ordering!
They are shipped the cheapest (and hence slowest) way possible to cut costs on their end.
My orders usually take 10 to 15 business days (2 to 3 weeks) to arrive also.
 
I e-mailed them several times asking when they were expecting several out of stock items to become available and I never heard back once. I sent the e-mails about (3) weeks ago. At this point, I'm not expecting a reply, nor am I expecting to place an order with them. As far as I'm concerned, their customer service sucks.
 
I have always had great luck with them but i have never odered an out of stock item so your circumstance is unique. If you have not called them yet but are going to write them off you are jumping the gun. If teh phone call is fruitless then I would walk away from them if I were you.
 
I have had a partial order shipped with some items back ordered. The missing stuff eventually made its way to me with no further issues. As a note, they also never charged my card for the back ordered stuff until they shipped it. I knew it was on the way when I saw the charges appear on the card.

As it was mentioned above, have they charged you for the items that were back ordered?

If not, why worry about it?

jt, you misunderstood what I wrote. I sent them a number of inquiries to which they've ever replied. Since they won't respond to my simple inquiries, it's doubtful that I will ever order from them beause of their lack of customer service.

My bad, I quoted the wrong post. I was trying to reply to the OP about if they haven't charged him for it, not to worry about it. :D
