same here in eastern Ontario. See coyotes more than deer, used to be the other way around.

Not quite. Coyotes in and of themselves are not usually a problem here. When they become one, get rid of them ruthlessly but if they are not causing problems, there is no sense killing them and making room for potential problem yotes to move in.

If coyotes were not causing a problem, I wouldn't shoot a lactating female, but that's just my conscience and it may not bother others.
