What you think of these SKS sights ?

Hi all, does anyone have tried this sight on his SKS ?
I would like to see what you guys think of these sights, even if its not on a SKS.
Cauz i know Tech-Sights make them for others riffles, like the Ruger 10-22.
It look good, well made and its not too expensive, *read affordable*.
I'm looking for the TS200 model, the one with ajustable elevation.

Hey DILLIGAF, did you get the TS200 or 100? is there any good way to adjust elevation without tech-sight's tool? Ive got an A1 sight adjustment tool on order, I wonder if it would work for the rear aperture too?

Great sights, but you have to remove them to remove the bolt for cleaning. Sadly, that's an SKS design requirement.

Ive takent it appart over 20 times and still havent had a single issue with it...

Those 4 set screws dont move

Thx guys especially DILLIGAF wich have already started a forum on those sights !!
Maybe you should tell, u use threadlocker on those set screws. That's why it hold Zero...

I just ordered the Williams firesight set for my SKS from Epps

threadlocker is the key to any screw on a weapon system...

They came in the package with thredlock on them...


Colin I never had good luck with the williams rear sight... it keept moving on me, that why I got the tech sight... But all SKS are different I hope your will sit nice and snug... Mine had side to side play and after every couple of shots it would slowly creep upwards..

There is a forum member here who set up his SKS to use a Central receiver sight. The base is excellent on these Central sights, it has grooves that match grooves on the actual sight. Solid lock up and guaranteed return to zero.
